Effectiveness of Human-Crafted vs AI-Generated Phishing Attacks

This paper compares the persuasiveness of human-crafted phishing emails and AI-generated phishing emails using a controlled study with 12 emails and 50 participants.

The reported results show a higher overall score for the human-crafted group than the AI-generated group, with a mean difference of 0.84 and a statistically significant p value in the original report.
